Descriptive Title of Research: Dietary approaches to inhibit chronic inflammation
Research Description: We are investigating the mechanisms by which dietary bioactives inhibit chronic inflammation. Our recent focus is how consumption of polyphenol-rich foods modulate of T cell differentiation during the initiation of colitis. Broadly, we are interested in the anti-inflammatory effects of foods in the context of chronic disease.
