Department:      Pathology and Laboratory Medicine                                            Immunology Focus area:   Infectious disease immunology                                 Descriptive Title of Research:  T cell responses to SIV and Mtb Research Description:    Our lab is interested in understanding T cell responses specific for SIV and M. tuberculosis.  We focus on both classical adaptive and nonclassical T cell populations.  We use nonhuman primates to determine how to induce effective immunity against both of these pathogens.
